Here is a link to our Contact Page.

Q: What pressure levels can TST’s protective clothing withstand?
TST’s protective clothing comes in two different protection levels
* Protection level 10/28 (YELLOW) – clothing can withstand 1000 bar/14500 psi single jet and 2800 bar/40000 psi rotor jet.
* Protection level 20/30 (ORANGE) – clothing can withstand 2000 bar/29000psi single jet and 3000 bar/43500 psi rotor jet.

The TST Boot 3000 can withstand 3000 bar/43500 psi single jet.

Q: Are the clothes waterproof?
Yes, TST’s protective clothing is waterproof and breathes in order to give a high level of comfort. The outer material is tested to withstand a 10 m water column (1 bar).

Q: Are the clothes chemical resistant?
TST’s protective clothing is chemical resistant but is NOT intended to be used as an alternative to chemical protection suits.

Q: Can the clothes be cleaned?
We recommend using TST’s “Special Grease Remover”.
We also recommend rinsing the clothes after all jobs. Note that the clothing is NOT to be dried using a tumble dryer.

Q: Is the entire piece of clothing protected or are only certain areas protected?
The protective areas on TST’s clothing are easily identified by the red and black striped fabric. In addition, all protected areas are clearly marked with a label, showing the level of protection (10/28 YELLOW or 20/30 ORANGE).

Q: Why cannot TST clothes withstand 2800 bar/40000 psi single jet?
TST always think in terms of safety and we strongly believe that the most extreme situations, like working with pressure levels at or above 2800bar/40000psi single jet, should only be carried out by robots.
Clothing for pressures above 2000 bar single and 3000 bar rotor do not meet TST’s demands for comfort.

Q: What type of clothing should I choose?
All TST’s protective clothing is developed in consultation with end users and fitted to meet their needs. TST philosophy is to develop clothing that combines comfort and security, that are easy to wear and can meet different working environments.

The TST Overall is recommended while working in a confined, wet space where the operator needs to stand, walk or crawl on hard surfaces.

The TST Apron is easy to put on and take off and the open back keeps the operator cool for an extended period of time. The apron is especially useful when working in a stationary position or where the need for movement is not a priority. Thanks to the adjustable band at the waist and neck, the Apron can easily be optimized to fit different operators and situations.

TST Waistcoat with Apron offers numerous options for effective protection of the upper body and provides optimal comfort. Due to its design the weight is evenly distributed across the upper body, making it easy and light to wear.

TST Jacket with integrated Hand Protection provides full front protection as well as protection around the neck and shoulders and the lower arms. The weight of the protection is distributed over the entire upper body, making it easy and light to wear.

TST Trousers are fitted with full front protection up to the waist. The zips on the outside of the legs are protected by a sealing velcro flap. Wide adjustable braces and a waist belt, makes for a comfortable fit.

When it comes to protecting the feet and the lower part of the legs, TST can offer both the aluminium Boot 3000 that can withstand almost everything with UHP and the TST Gaiters that are intended to be worn outside the user’s regular protective boots.

Q: Are the clothes certified?
All TST UHP protective clothing, boots and gaiters are rigorously tested and CE-certified according the directive 89/686/EEC and BGR191.

Q: Why should I use a hose protection?
A hose’s connection to the pistol is the most common place for hose fractures. Also, a hose is commonly held near critical areas of the body such as the armpit, abdomen and neck, areas that are difficult to protect.
With a 250 mm solid steel collar placed inside the top end, the TST hose protection provides excellent protection over areas such as the connection between hose and pistol, areas where the wear and tear is high. An adjustable strap holds the hose protection to the pistol and provides for ease of use.

Q: Does the Hose protection come in different lengths and sizes?
Yes, the hose protection comes in three different lengths: 750 mm, 1400 mm and 1800 mm and can be had with three different hose diameters: 36 mm, 47 mm and 59 mm.
The TST hose protection has been tested to withstand pressure up to 3000 bar/43500 psi.

Q: Why have TST launched a new product line?
The technical advancement and use of new materials in UHP pumps and accessories is constantly moving forward. TST prides itself by always trying to stay at the forefront of new technology and to meet new challenges. With the launch of our new UHP product line, which have been rigorously tested to meet today’s requirements, we are confident that we have managed to do just that!
